Snails and Beetles in Bali

I was gobsmacked by the diversity of terrestrial snails in Bali. Here are some I photographed.

    Amazing beetles - they seem too good to be real.
    Nice snails - wonder if they are tasty? Perhaps not enough French influence in Bali for the locals to find out.

    They are so beautiful, aren't they?

    Are any snails tasty? :) From my experience of escargots, the tasty bit is the garlic they're cooked in!
